One Leap

Tonight I will be traveling by plane with my mother to Colorado. Usually heading west was always just a special occasion or family trip but this time it’s different. This time I’m looking to make it my home.

I’ve transferred around universities quite a lot and it’s never been because of bad grades or trouble with the law, I simply haven’t found the place that works for me and all that I want. That may come off as selfish but I believe if you have the opportunity to take a leap for a dream-you take it.

I’ve loved Colorado since I was a young girl and there’s just something about it I can’t put into words. So I guess this post is a little more personal than usual but I thought why not document it. Here’s to new adventures!

Ps Happy St.Patty’s day to my fellow Irish folk! (And others who embrace today as a celebration)

Turning Point

As humans, we all go through similar situations and find ourselves reaching out to others for numerous reasons. But is there a point in which we are thrown from all we know in order to learn more about ourselves? I think so. Life has so many twists and turns it’s hard to keep things straight a lot of the time. From what you thought you knew to who you never thought you’d become, we are ever changing. That’s a scary thought for me, but at the same time we all have an incredible journey ahead of us. So don’t stop, even if your heart is breaking and you feel more alone than ever before. Take the time to learn about yourself and become greater than you ever thought. So I guess what I’m trying to say is here’s to the ever-changing scenarios and day dreams that some day might all make sense, but maybe they won’t and that’s ok. The point is to keep going and never give up. You are not alone.
